How it works

From supplier plots to a submitted DDS

Three steps, one workspace — built for coffee roasters and other small EU importers.

Collect geolocation

Send suppliers a simple link and they enter plot coordinates — no account needed. Points for small plots, polygons for larger ones, validated automatically.

Screen for deforestation

Every plot is checked against post-2020 forest-loss data, with a clear traffic-light result and an evidence report you keep for your records.

Submit to TRACES

Generate the due diligence statement, submit it to the EU Information System, and keep the reference number on file for five years.

Who it's for

Made for the businesses enterprise tools ignore

If you import coffee, cocoa, timber, rubber or their products into the EU, the same obligations apply — whether you're a two-person roastery or a regional distributor.

Coffee roasters

Import green coffee directly? You're the operator of record. We match how you buy — per lot, per origin.

Timber & furniture

Capture species and volume alongside geolocation for wood and furniture under HS chapters 44 and 94.

Distributors & traders

Collect and store the DDS reference numbers you receive, ready to show a competent authority on request.

Consultants

Manage many client operators from one account, each with its own TRACES connection and records.

Questions

What small importers ask us first

If you're the first to place a covered product on the EU market — for example a roaster importing green coffee — you owe full due diligence and a due diligence statement, with a deadline of 30 June 2027 for micro and small enterprises. Small size doesn't exempt you; it only moves the date.
We screen each plot against open, post-2020 forest-loss layers using a convergence-of-evidence approach, and give you a plain result plus the underlying evidence to keep. It's a risk indication to support your due diligence, not a substitute for it.
You connect your own TRACES credentials and submit under your operator identity. For consultants, an authorised-representative mode is on the roadmap so you can file for the operators you manage.
The current dates are set in law, but demand doesn't disappear if they move — your suppliers' geolocation and your records are useful either way. You can start collecting today and submit when you're ready.
